1. If you were to wake up as an animal, what animal would you want to be?

A fat, lazy cat.

2. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Tattoos. Tattoos everywhere. Especially ones with words.

3. If you could choose one song that would play every time you walked into a room, what song would you choose?

4. If you could be any inanimate object, what would it be?

A Hunt's #100 Dip Pen

5. If they made a movie of your life, who would you want to play you?

They'd have to resurrect the body of snooty actor Richard Haydn from the 1941 Barbara Stanwyck movie, "Balls of Fire".

6. If you were on that proverbial desert island, which one film, one book, and one piece of music would you want to have with you?

Freaks, Mad Magazine #11 and "The Best of Nancy".

7. What is your favourite childhood memory?

Playing with toy cars on the beach at my Aunt's house on Cape Cod in 1954.

8. What is the best insult / comeback you’ve ever said or had said to you?

Fun is a stern taskmaster!

9.What figure, throughout all of history, would you want as a BFF?

Ernie Bushmiller, the creator of "Nancy".

10. What would you expect to see, many years from now of course, written on your gravestone?

Is he dead yet?

11. If you were to describe yourself using three fictional characters (excluding Griffy or any other Zippy adjacent one), who would you choose?

Perry Mason, Gyro Gearloose and Sergeant Bilko.

Mr. Griffith (or Griffy, if you will) is the man behind the legendary comic strip Zippy the Pinhead, in publication since 1971.

He also co-edited the notable comics anthologies Arcade and Young Lust, and has contributed comics & illustrations to a variety of publications, including National Lampoon, High Times, The New Yorker, & The Village Voice. Bill was also involved in the making of Topps' Wacky Packages Trading Cards.

In 2023, Mr. Griffith published a biography of his idol, titled Ernie Bushmiller: The Man Who Created Nancy.
