As we more than plainly stated above, Pulp Fiction won this round, garnering 25 votes, out of 97 cast. This was followed by the just as expectant second place finish of Inglourious Basterds, with 22 votes of its own. Then came the two Kill Bills. Some claim that these should actually have counted as one singular film, but no sirree...two separate films they be. Of course, the voting pretty much even the two out, with Volume 2 grabbing up 13 votes, and Volume 1 destined for just 12 votes. The we got QT's debut feature, Reservoir Dogs, coming in at fifth place, with 10 votes. Then in sixth place comes Jackie Brown, with 8 votes, and in seventh, Django Unchained with 7 votes. And then there's poor Death Proof. The poor thing did not receive even one single vote. Really!?? It deserved better than that! Actually, this list looks a hell of a lot like my own Tarantino list. The top six are in the exact same order as my own list, with Death Proof and Django switching places. So, other than my feeling sorry for poor Death Proof, the list works out after all...even if we didn't get the upsets I was hoping for. So there ya go, kids.
Now all you have to do is head on over to the poll and get your vote on. This poll will run for five weeks, ending at midnight EST the night of Wednesday, September 17th, with the results (and the announcement of a brand new poll) being posted on September 18th. You also have until then to let everyone you come in contact with know about our little poll here at All Things Kevyn. So please share share share. As for how to vote, let me tell ya. Sure, you can give your choice in the comments section below (and I do encourage comments, so comment up galore - I'll love ya forever for it) but for your vote to actually count (no hanging chads here!) you must go over to the poll itself, which can be found oh so conveniently near the top of the sidebar (really, ya can't miss it) and do what you must. It's easy peezy, lemon squeezy. You can also check out the running results over there as well. Then after you vote, feel free to hop back over here and comment away. Remember, I'll love ya forever for it. So, with all that said, get on over there and get your vote on, and tell everyone you know to do the same! And let's try getting those vote totals up from the measly 97 votes tallied with our QT poll. I just know we can get that total up past 200, or even maybe 300. Imagine that! That's it gang. See ya 'round the web. And enjoy the Star Wars/Tarantino mashups I found for ya'll.
