Heavenly Body of the Week: The Planet Melmac

Melmac was a strange planet located in the Aldente Nebula, in the Adromeda Galaxy. Residents of the planet were characterized as being short, furry creatures who are long living and have multiple stomachs. Melmac had an orange sky, green clouds, and blue grass, and orbited a purple sun. Melmac's national pastime was mining for yogurt. Sadly, Melmac was destroyed on Gary 71st, 45-7, according to the Melmacian calendar (1985 in Earth time). Oh, and some guy named ALF may have come from there.

That's it gang.  See ya 'round the web.

  2. I am also told that Melmac was once the intergalactic convention site for the Federation of Incredibly Strange Food Groups.

  4. I guess cats were extinct on Melmac before it was destroyed?

  5. No need to try. No shame in lovin' ALF. Well, maybe a little, but no worries. And with our four cats, I don't think ALF would make a very good roommate in our house.
