Heavenly Body of the Week: Planet Irk

"Let us rain some doom down upon the heads of our doomed enemies." - Invader Zim, a native Irken

Today is day 10 of the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge, and that means all things the Letter I. So with that in mind, I give you the Heavenly Body known as Irk, homeworld of Invader Zim. Please check out other entries in this month long blogathon, including two more Heavenly Bodies of the Week.

That's it gang. See ya 'round the web.

  1. I don't usually like kids' cartoons. But, I was sad when I finished this series. It almost always put me in a good mood.

  2. I always thought it was rather irksome. See what I did there? Anyhoo, thanx for stopping by Anonymous China Charlie. Maybe someday you will actually sign in, unless a certain big brother is maybe watching.

Seriously though, thanx for stopping by. It's always good to hear from an old friend. See ya 'round the web.

  3. Ouch. Ix is another cool "I" planet. I'm rereading Dune, so it popped to mind.

It's just that I don't want google connected to things online. Their social media policies are a little too permanent, with the requirement of a real name and such. I don't have an account with the others or don't remember. China is pretty heavy on the Big Brother stuff, but Taiwan isn't so much. They were under martial law not that long ago, though.

Yeah, hearing from old friends is my favorite use of Facebook.

  4. I am thinking Hitchhikers's Guide To The Galaxy. Let's hope no freeway will be created and we are in the way

  5. Hey Charlie. I wasn't bustin' on ya for signing in anonymous. At least you sign your name after. Many do not. I'm assuming that ouch comment was for my irksome comment. If not, it should have been.

I didn't know you had to use your real name on Google+. I have a friend who does not. I won't say which friend, since big bro is maybe bigger here than in China.

Thanx for stopping by again. Hope you become a regular, anonymously or otherwise. See ya 'round the web.

  6. I knew you weren't busting on me. The ouch was about irksome.

It was a requirement when Google+ started anyway. And, integrated with gmail. Which meant if you broke the rule, you'd lose both. Since I like gmail, and having my just last name for it, I'd rather not. I use my real name for Facebook, but I guess it's easier to change there. I don't remember why I thought one was ok and the other wasn't.

  7. I don't know what the rule is but my one friend goes by a fake name in google and gmail and no one has ever said anything. He'll probably get his in the end though. Ha!

Keep on keepin' on. Oh, and congrats on the whole becoming a dad thing. You will make for a great dad. Excelsior!
